Interlock fails from underneath. Sunken driveways and rocking blocks are almost never a paver problem — they are a base problem. Ebhar prices excavation, sub-base compaction and edge restraint as visible items, because those are what determine whether the surface stays level.

How We Work

Survey and levels

We set finished levels and falls first, so water runs away from the villa and towards the intended drainage.

Excavation and base

The area is excavated to the correct depth and the sub-base is laid and mechanically compacted in layers.

Laying

Pavers are laid to the agreed pattern with edge restraints installed, then vibrated and jointed with kiln-dried sand.

Clean and handover

The surface is cleaned, joints topped up and the area inspected for level and pattern alignment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why has my existing driveway sunk in places?

Almost always inadequate sub-base depth or compaction, or a missing edge restraint that lets the blocks migrate sideways. We lift the affected area, rebuild the base properly and re-lay the same pavers where they are still sound.

How long does a driveway take?

A typical villa driveway takes five to ten working days depending on area, excavation depth and whether an existing surface has to be removed. We give a dated programme with the quotation.

Can you match my existing pavers?

We will try. Where an exact match is unavailable we advise on the most discreet option, or on re-laying a full area with a deliberate border rather than a visible patch.
